Located at SM Aura Premier's Skypark, Buta + Wagyu offers both indoor and outdoor "al-fresco" dining options for discerning lovers of authentic Japanese cuisine. The panoramic glass-walled enclosure around Buta + Wagyu's elegant bar was reserved for the exclusive sampling of The Great Eatscape at SM Aura Premier...


Buta + Wagyu takes your Japanese dining experience a notch higher with their impressive selection of A5 Grade Wagyu from Japan. That alone is enough reason to head on over to SM Aura Premier's Skypark, taking you closer to a piece of Wagyu heaven. Our dining experience at Buta + Wagyu began with their signature Wagyu Tataki (P 750), delicately seared A5 Wagyu Top Round, thinly sliced and drizzled with ponzu sauce and sesame oil, topped with finely minced garlic, chopped spring onions, shredded white onions, and gaban. The beefy richness of the A5 Wagyu Top Round comes through, coating your palate with its melt-in-your-mouth flavors lingering long after the first bite. The subtle yet pure beef flavors are followed by layers of tart and nutty notes from the ponzu and sesame oil punctuated by the fresh garlic and onions without overpowering the premium beef for a delicate balance.


The Steamed Iberian Pork Rolls (P 420), thinly sliced premium and organic Iberian pork intricately wrapped in fresh and crisp Napa cabbage and steamed on a bed of vegetables served with ponzu sauce and homemade sesame dressing, is yet another creative expression of Buta + Wagyu's modern Japanese cuisine. The fresh and clean flavors of the tender Iberian pork and the mild sweetness of the vegetables combine in a seamless blend, perfectly finished by the ponzu sauce and sesame dressing.  


Buta + Wagyu also offers a selection of Korean dishes, including this sumptuous and comforting Bibimbap (P 380), with soft and fluffy rice rendered in A5 Wagyu trimmimgs layered with a medley of stir-fried vegetables topped with an organic free-range egg. The A5 Wagyu trimmings add a bold and beefy punch to the classic Bibimbap, transforming the traditional dish.


You can also enjoy Buta + Wagyu hearty Lunch Sets, like the Spicy Pork Bulgogi (P 499), tender and juicy pork belly seared and braised with spicy gochujang, white onions, and leeks served on a sizzling hot stone grill, served with soup, salad, and dessert for a complete meal.


Other Lunch Sets include the Chashudon (P 499), thick slabs of organic pork belly braised for over 24 hours and served on Japanese steamed rice draped in a special soy glaze and topped with onsen tamago. Served on weekdays between 11:00 am and 3:00pm, with soup, salad and dessert, now that's a pretty cool deal. 


And here's the beef. The Stoned Grill Ribeye Kagoshima (Kagoshima & Saga-P 1,300 per 100g/Ohmi-P 1,540 per 100g/Hida-P 1,640 per 100g), tender and perfectly marbled slabs of A5 Kagoshima Wagyu flown fresh from Japan, delicately seared on a hot stone grill served with onions, carrots, French beans, and a side of ponzu sauce, homemade sesame dressing, and the special Buta + Wagyu spice...pure Wagyu heaven. 


The finely marbled slab of beef is then placed on a sizzling hot stone, searing and locking in all the juices and flavors. In mere minutes, the Kagoshima Ribeye is done...


The Kagoshima Ribeye is then sliced and served. The staff then placed a hot stone on the table in case you want to sear the beef further, but trust me, medium rare with its juicy pink center is the way to go. Each slice just melts in your mouth releasing its rich juicy flavors. You can dip the beef in Buta + Wagyu's ponzu sauce or sesame dressing, but the beef is great as is. After a satisfying meal, have a cocktail or choose from a wide selection of fine Japanese Whisky, Sake and Korean Sochu. Wagyu heaven exists...at SM Aura Premier's Skypark.
